The Police Problem

It’s important to note that the police problem today extends far beyond race. I’ve looked at statistics of unarmed killings by police officers and haven’t seen noticeable disproportional killings of black people compared to other races based on police killings yearly. The narrative that cops are ruthlessly slaying countless African Americans across America is completely wrong. African Americans are no more prone to being killed by cops than other races. If they are, the amount of racist cops willing to kill African Americans over other races is so low that it’s practically incalculable when you consider fluctuations.

The fact is “unarmed white man killed by police officer” isn’t news worthy to the media or doesn’t become an echo chamber for global news. It just kind of shows how brainwashed people are by the media before actually wanting to know the truth. There has also been a lot of cases over the years of women being raped and/or killed by police officers, but those also fade into the abyss.

In 1890 Tesla was a man in a time where horses dominated the way of traveling. Today Tesla is more commonly known as the electric car, not even comparable to a horse. My point being that comparing today to over 100 years ago on racial equality is meaninglessness. It’s important to preserve the past and not repeat history, but to compare today to 100 years ago based on the death of one person is a fallacy. We live in a world today where murder in general is rampant.

Killers and “destroyers” (which is an umbrella term for unlawful people) find power and authority. The weapons supplied to them are a bonus.

RIP George Floyd.

This post is not to diminish that racism does not exist. Saying that cops are killing African Americans in abnormal numbers compared to other races needs to be backed up with statistics though and as far as I’m aware no one has these statistics because they don’t exist.
